QDT-201 Clinical Trial (essais cliniques)

QDT has completed its second Health Canada-approved investigational study with The Canary System™.

Protocol: A multi-centre study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of The Canary System™ in adults.

Objective: The primary objective of this study was to establish how The Canary detects and monitors tooth decay in vivo in dental practice situations. Efficacy in the context of this trial was considered the ability of the investigational device to detect dental caries. The secondary objectives of this study was to develop a treatment scale that correlates lesion size, explore the ability of the investigational device to detect caries and erosion lesions, and monitor changes in lesion size in response to various therapies.
